Wyrzutnia rakietowa BM-24

Radziecka wyrzutnia pocisków rakietowych BM–24 używana była od połowy lat 1950 do początku lat 70. Wyrzutnie zainstalowano na ciężarówce ZiS–157. BM 24 był w stanie wystrzelić wszystkie 12 pociski rakietowe typu M24 jednocześnie. Taktycznym zadaniem wyrzutni BM–24 było zniszczenie sił żywych wroga na polu bitwy, w tym pancernych i ufortyfikowanych umocnień.

BM–24 służyły w wojskach Układu Warszawskiego oraz siłach zbrojnych innych państw. Wyrzutni BM–24 użyto bojowo na Bliskim Wschodzie i w Afryce.

Multiple Launch Rocket BM-24

Soviet multiple launch rocket system BM–24 was the most powerful rocket system of its class in the world during the mid 1950's early 1970's period. The artillery part of the system was mounted on the ZIS–157 truck was framed cell launch guides. The laying equipment elevating and travesing were hand operating. BM–24 was able to fire all 12 turbo rockets M 24 type simultaneously. The tactical role of the mlrs BM–24 was to destroy enemy forces on the battlefield including armor and fortified strong points.

BM–24 were used in the Soviet Union and Warsaw Pact armies and the armed forces of Soviet satellite states. The type was in action during conflicts in the Near East and Africa.
